Product thinking
During application season, applicants, supervisors, reviewers and the registrar all talk about
the same thing — while the information itself scatters across email, spreadsheets and chat.
The starting point for this product was simple: put the process, the roles and the material
back into one system.
- One entrance, four views — the same application shows different information density and
available actions depending on who is looking.
- Visible state — the applicant’s real question, “where are my materials now?”, is answered
directly by the status flow.
- Permissions as boundaries — each role sees only what it should, reducing mistakes and leaks.

A call-sheet, location and media hand-off workspace for small crews.
Concept
For student and independent crews, the hard part is rarely the shooting itself — it is
coordination. Call-sheet changes scatter across group chats, location and gear availability
live in memory, and footage comes back as a pile of cloud links. ShotFlow would pull these into
one lightweight workspace.
- The call sheet is the timeline — a day-by-day timeline of call sheets, scenes and people,
with changes synced to whoever is affected.
- Availability — three interlocking calendars for locations, gear and people, surfacing
conflicts before they happen.
- Media hand-off — uploads from set are filed automatically by scene and shot number.

One pipeline for subtitles, dubbing and compliance on AI short dramas going abroad.
Concept
While working on AI short dramas for overseas markets, I noticed the slow part was never the
translation itself — it was everything around it: inconsistent terminology, subtitles drifting
out of sync with dubbing, and platform content rules that differ from one another.
SubtitleForge would string these into a single pipeline:
- Terminology base — character names, proper nouns and a style guide managed in one place so
the whole series stays consistent.
- Subtitle and dub alignment — the timeline is the source of truth, with subtitles and
dialogue calibrating against each other.
- Compliance pre-check — flag at-risk segments against each target platform’s rules to cut
rework.
