Profile
I am Tristan Qi, currently studying Computer Science at BNU-HKBU United International College. My work runs along two lines: film — taking a short from script, storyboard and set through to post, end to end — and technology — writing code, building products, and feeding that capability back into production.
What I do
- Short films — Finding Home was selected for the 15th Macau International Micro Film Festival; The Last New Year’s Eve won Best Animated Short at the Rome Prisma Film Awards and was selected by the Seoul International AI Film Festival, the Spain AI Movie Awards and others.
- AIGC workflows — exploring low-cost, reproducible AI production pipelines so an individual creator can finish work at finished-film quality.
- Code and product — contributed to a graduate application platform and led its front-end implementation; the project is open sourced.

- 01
Campus live production and tech support — long-term lead on live-stream planning, directing and on-screen packaging for large campus events, plus stage and remote-conference support for international academic events; contributed to the campus network troubleshooting handbook.
- 02
AIGC short-drama production — full-pipeline work on several AI short dramas for overseas markets, covering script and storyboard breakdown, character and scene asset production, prompt writing and post-production editing.
- 03
Campus media and independent channels — campus promotional films, event photography and WeChat feature supply; my own channels have passed 460,000 total views.
